“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their work “
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.

This is one of the key passages in the Bible that describe God’s design  for us as inter-dependent beings  and  His intention for us  to be a community. The passage does not only speak of the benefits and advantages of collaborating and working together.  It also says that our real strength and success lies in acknowledging our need for one another and that we cannot do things alone. “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken “(verse 12) clearly states this fact.

The work that we do in ACDA is a good example of what the Teacher says in Ecclesiastes. As more of our member organizations, other groups and churches find ways to work together, we are able to accomplish more and affirm our inter-dependence.

ACDA continued to fulfill its vision and mission as an alliance the past year. We implemented our three major programs in partnership with our member organizations, other groups and churches.
