ACDA Annual Report 2011
The Alliance of Christian Development Agencies (ACDA) is now on its 11th year of operation. Through the years, we have implemented our Alliance and Partnership Building, Community Transformation and Community Advocacy Programs. This year, we added Resource Mobilization as a program to ensure our sustainability after our funding from Baptist World Aid Australia (BWAA) ends in July 2012.
Through these programs, ACDA was able to address the needs of our member organizations in the areas of capacity building, organizational development, advocacy, collaboration and partnerships. Other partner organizations and groups have also benefited from these initiatives. We have experienced more collaborations and stronger partnerships among our members and partners. We have been able to move and respond to needs, more as a community as we shared our experiences, learnings, expertise, resources and ourselves with one another.
As we look back to the year that has passed, we have much to celebrate and be grateful to God for what He has done in and through our lives as we learned, served and cared for one another.
