Mind Mapping

Mind Mapping
This is a graphic organizer that tells about a learning event called Mind Mapping Workshop held last June 13 at the Conference Center of the Norwegian Mission Alliance (NMAP) in Mother Ignacia, Quezon City. Mind mapping is a tool that allows for effective learning. This graphic technique allows learners to achieve the two basic tasks of learning, these are—understanding and remembering. By understanding our brain’s operating system, we learn techniques of enhancing our ability to learn and communicate.

This workshop is an outcome of a partnership between ACDA and Salt and Light Ventures, Inc. Salt and Light is a learning event producer and organizer. Some of their trainings include Leadership and Leadership Skills Development, Innovation in Business, and Human centered design workshops. This was facilitated by Pastor Bernard Marquez, a certified Buzan Licensed Instructor (BLI) in the Philippines. He was trained at the Buzan Center Asia in Singapore. This workshop was made possible through the support from Baptist World Aid Australia (BWAA).

At least six (6) ACDA member organizations participated with a total of 2 CEOs; 11 Program Mangers and Staff and the ACDA Secretariat. For those who participated, we will appreciate if you can give us feedback on how you utilized this technique in your ministry. If you would like to know more about this workshop, feel free to call or email the ACDA Secretariat.
