The 11th ACDA General Assembly was held on August 31, 2011 at the Chapel of the World Vision Development Foundation. At least 30 individuals representing 20 member organizations participated. Three of our members from Mindanao also came. Highlights include the: Presentation of the Annual Report 2010-2011; Plans for 2011-2012 and the presentation of the Sustainability Plan.

Pastor Jun Gonzaga of CCT gave the devotional message entitled, A Partnership Made in Heaven based on the book of Philemon. Here are some excerpts from his biblical reflection)
What makes for a partnership that is ‘made in heaven’?
- A Partnership that is not by decree but by one’s own free will (v.13)— Partnership should be borne out of friendship. In ACDA, I would like to propose that members should give some fund for relationship building activities in order for us to forge friendships among members.
- A Partnership that acknowledges the hand of God—that things are happening (things that are bigger than both of you); a partnership that recognizes that there is something bigger than money. In verse 17-19, Paul shows that we should conduct our partnership as though money does not matter.
- A Partnership that is made in the Holy Spirit—a fellowship of the Holy Spirit. ACDA’s role is to broker the partnership among its members.
Let us affirm the truth that partnership is made in heaven. Let us live it out.
